By attending your telehealth consultation with Honest Hearing, these terms will automatically apply to you – it is important that you read them carefully before your session. Your audiologist will review these conditions at the beginning of your consultation and obtain your signed consent.
Honest Hearing is dedicated to providing accurate and useful information during your audiologist services. While we strive to ensure that all information is current and correct, we rely on third parties to furnish us with data, which we then share with you. It's essential to recognize that hearing technology available to consumers is continually advancing in this digital landscape, and you understand that the recommendations given, although suitable at the time, may become outdated with new technology introduced after your consultation.
Providing personal data during your telehealth consultation is standard practice to ensure we can offer the right hearing solution for you. Although we do not store or record the information you've provided during the video or phone consultation itself, you are responsible for keeping your internet connection and devices such as your computer, tablet, or phone secure at all times. We advise you not to bypass your phone’s security features or root your device, as this can make it vulnerable to malware, viruses, and malicious programs, compromising its security.
Please be aware that there are specific aspects for which Honest Hearing cannot be held accountable. A successful online telehealth appointment requires a stable and active internet connection. We cannot assume responsibility if the session does not function correctly due to your lack of a stable connection, depleted data allowance, or a dead device battery. Should technical difficulties occur, we reserve the right to offer a secondary consultation.
If you are connected without Wi-Fi, your agreement terms with your mobile network provider will still apply. Consequently, you may incur charges from your provider for data usage during your telehealth services. By attending your consultation, you accept responsibility for any charges incurred, including roaming fees if accessing outside your home territory without disabling data roaming. If you do not pay the bill for the device connected to your consultation, we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer.
